English has undertaken the complete renovation of this elegant c.1914 theatre. This formidable project has not only entailed the structural stabilization of this once-abandoned building, but also the recreation of its grand performing-arts auditorium. All work on the Academy has involved the restoration and preservation of many period aesthetic details, balanced with the subtle addition of modern mechanical systems.
