The project was constructed for the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority.  The existing headworks and grit removal system at the Moore's Creek Wastewater Facility were demolished and replaced.  A new influent facility was constructed in its place including the installation of a new fine screening system.  This construction project was performed in phases to allow the existing facility to remain operational at all times.
