Town of Orange WWTP
Orange, VA
This project consists of construction of an
upgrade and expansion to the Town of Orange Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The upgraded and
expanded plant is a Three Million Gallon per day plant and includes
preliminary treatment facility consisting of influent screening,
pumping and flow measurement; grit removal, a biological nutrient
removal facility consisting of aeration, anoxic and fermentation
basins; secondary clarifiers and return and waste sludge pumping
stations; aerobic sludge digesters; effluent filters; ultraviolet
disinfection; post aeration; belt filter press sludge dewatering
system; chemical storage and feed systems; administration building;
belt press building, chemical building and blower/electrical building;
UV building and all associated site work and piping and demolition of
portions of the existing plant.
