The Roanoke County Multi-Generational Recreation Center (RCMRC)
Offers a place for the Community to meet, mingle and grow healthy together.
A place for the young and young at heart to share in activities from a
water slide to yoga, from cards to basketball, and from aerobics to weightlifting,
including child care and private meeting rooms.
The RCMRC with its sustainable design will meet the needs of all the
Community's generations, for generations.

English Construction Company, Inc. is the General Contractor for the First Choice Public-Private Partners Team
for this new 76,628-square-foot facility. The facility is a concrete and structural steel-framed building with a
mixture of veneer brick, architectural precast, aluminum panels and aluminum curtainwall on the exterior.

The RCMRC features:

Outdoor recreation swimming pool and terraces

Two-story entry lobby with lounges

Three-lane running track

Game room and pool rental room areas

Fitness area with views into adjacent gymnasium

Pool house with concession areas

Indoor recreation swimming pool with fitness lanes

Two-court basketball gymnasium

Child-care

Three multi-purpose rooms

Aerobics studios
