Sunset Beach Bridge

Brunswick County, NC

This project will consist of  a 2,563 foot bridge on Rt. 1172 over the Intercoastal Waterway at Sunset Beach, NC. This project will require 800 feet of temporary detour bridge over wetlands and approximately 1500 feet of temporary work bridge. Grade work including 18,000 cubic-yards of excavation, 31,000 cubic-yards of borrow, an earthen dam for a golf course cart way, drainage and paving. Completion Fall 2010.
