Project Coordinator

English Construction Company is looking to hire Project Coordinators for projects in VA.

Applicants will be expected to perform the following duties: -Provide assistance to the Superintendent in relation to project oversight and coordination on-site for project and construction activity, -Review construction plans and specifications, -Purchase materials, equipment, and supplies as approved by the Project Manager and Superintendent, -Preparing bills, time cards, accident reports, and / or other documents, -Record-keeping, -Participate in the preparation, review, and compliance of change orders and applications for payment, and -Perform administrative tasks relating to the above responsibilities. Applicants must have two forms of valid identification and must be able to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. A qualified individual should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Construction Management, or possess related field experience. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel) is vital. Experience with Project Management software, like AutoCAD and Primavera6, is preferred.
