Construction continues to ramp up for the Lynchburg Police Department’s new headquarters. LPD told ABC 13 that the majority of the steel has been erected. English Construction hosted a luncheon Friday to celebrate the milestone of completing the steel structure. All the plumbing and electrical rough-ins on the ground level of the first floor, encased in concrete, have been completed and the first-floor concrete has been poured.
