The Lynchburg Regional WRRF Solids Improvement Project consists of the Sludge Holding Tank #2 Improvements and the Sludge Holding Tank #1 Improvements. Sludge Holding Tank #2 Improvements include construction of a sludge transfer and mixing pump station, modifications to an existing centrifuge feed pump station, construction of above grade process piping, demolition of existing clarifier mechanisms in Sludge Holding Tank 2, and rehabilitation and re-coating of Sludge Holding Tank 2. Sludge Holding Tank #1 Improvement includes demolition of an existing mixing system, construction of a new mixing system, and rehabilitation and re-coating of Sludge Holding Tank 2.
