The library addition consisted of the construction of a new two-story, 4,250-square-foot structural steel building with limestone cladding. The construction of this addition held an interesting, yet manageable challenge; the new addition had to be connected to an existing structure, which was the campus’ only library open to students during the entire construction schedule.
