This NCDOT project in Roanoke Rapids includes 1.5 miles of a new two lane road and the widening of an existing two lane road to four lanes for 1.5 miles. This project’s value is approximately $24 million and will take approximately 2.5 years to complete. It includes 215,000 CY of borrow material from an off-site pit and 60,000 CY of on-site cut to fill material. This will be a new bridge over the Chockoyotte Creek with a span of 325’.
