The Charles City Road Pump Station project included the demolition of the existing Charles City Road Pump Station and the construction of a new upgraded facility. Work at the new Charles City Road Pump Station included installation of dry-pit submersible sewage pumping equipment with ancillary piping, screening and grinding equipment, upgrades to the existing SCADA system, as well as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing trades. Additional work included new gravity sewer, force main, and waterline piping, as well as an emergency standby generator with a 1,000 gallon fuel tank and fuel purification system.
