This project consisted of the construction of a new wedge wire intake screen in Whitethorn Creek. The raw water pump station includes two vertical turbine pumps, approximately 250 feet of 10-inch raw water piping, an access road, a stream monitoring station, and related appurtenances. The purpose of this facility is to provide emergency back-up water to the town of Gretna in dry conditions.
